Ecovacs GOAT — Complete Range Guide

A-series or O-series? RTK or LiDAR-only? This guide helps you understand the GOAT range families and pick the right robot for your garden.

Ecovacs GOAT in 30 seconds

Ecovacs, better known for its DEEBOT robot vacuums, brings the same engineering to the GOAT robotic mower range — entirely wire-free. The garden is mapped in a single remote-controlled lap or a boundary drawn in the ECOVACS HOME app; fixed obstacles (beds, a trampoline, roots, slopes over 45%) are fenced off as no-go zones, and a dedicated edge-cutting mode runs along every zone boundary after the main mow. Three technology families: A-series with dual LiDAR for large lawns, O RTK with a reference station for precision, and the O camera/LiDAR range without RTK at a lower price.

🔵 A-series — Dual LiDAR, large lawns

360° LiDAR (positioning) and LiDAR-based ToF sensor (obstacle avoidance) combined, for gardens from 1,600 to 3,000 m². Slopes up to 45%.

🟠 O RTK — Reference-station precision

RTK reference-station positioning, LiDAR ToF for obstacle avoidance. Gardens from 600 to 800 m², the lightest and most compact in the range.

⚪ O camera/LiDAR — No RTK

360° LiDAR or panoramic camera alone for positioning, no RTK station. Gardens from 500 to 1,200 m², at a more accessible price.

A-series — Dual LiDAR

LiDAR

1,600 – 3,000 m² · Dual LiDAR · Up to 45% slope

O RTK — Reference-station precision

RTK GPS

600 – 800 m² · RTK station + LiDAR ToF · ~10.5 kg

The O RTK range relies on a reference station for precise positioning, backed by a LiDAR ToF sensor for obstacle avoidance and an AI camera. Slopes up to 45%, for gardens from 600 to 800 m² — the lightest and most compact models (10.4 to 10.7 kg) in the range.

O camera/LiDAR — No RTK

AI Vision

500 – 1,200 m² · LiDAR or camera only · No RTK

Without an RTK station, these models position themselves via 360° LiDAR or a panoramic camera alone depending on the model, for gardens from 500 to 1,200 m². A more affordable alternative to the RTK and A-series families, while keeping wire-free mapping and no-go zones for fixed obstacles.
