The Husqvarna Automower® 405VE NERA is a wire-free robotic lawn mower for lawns up to 900 m², with EdgeCut technology that trims lawn edges and saves manual strimming time. Its onboard camera detects and classifies obstacles using artificial intelligence, combined with satellite navigation for reliable coverage even with a weak signal, supporting slopes of up to 30%.

There's no boundary wire to bury: the mower learns its working area by satellite during setup, guided around the perimeter once to record it. Fixed obstacles such as a tree or pond are handled by drawing an exclusion zone in the app, while moving or temporary objects are spotted and avoided in real time by the onboard AI vision camera. For edges, the app offers a fixed cutting pattern that repeats the same path for crisp borders, or a variable pattern that alternates passes to avoid wear marks.

Setup needs cellular or Wi-Fi coverage across the lawn (or the optional Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station) and runs through the Automower® Connect app, with 4G and Bluetooth connectivity.
