A boundary wire laid around the lawn marks the exact area the mower stays within, spaced from nearby obstacles using the supplied gauge. If it bumps into something, the mower stops, reverses and turns away, and the cutting disc automatically stops spinning if lifted off the ground. A dedicated edge-cutting mode, switchable in the app, runs along the wire periodically to keep the borders tidy without manual trimming.

Once the battery runs low, it automatically returns to its charging dock, without any user intervention needed. Its 20V lithium-ion battery is managed through the Worx app for flexible, automated scheduling.
