The Einhell FREELEXO 1000 covers lawns up to 1000 m² and handles slopes of up to 35%. It weighs 8.6 kg, cuts an 18 cm swath with 3 blades, and its cutting height adjusts continuously from 30 to 60 mm via a central dial on the housing. It belongs to Einhell's Power X-Change battery platform, running on the supplied 5.2 Ah Power X-Change Plus battery, and supports Multi-area, Spot-mowing and Second-area programs to reach separate or hard-to-access patches of lawn.

Unlike GPS-guided robots, the FREELEXO stays inside its mowing area using a boundary wire — 195 m of cable plus 280 pegs and 4 connectors are included for a DIY install around the lawn. A dedicated obstacle sensor detects contact during mowing: the mower reverses and steers away from whatever it hit before carrying on. For a fixed obstacle taller than 10 cm (a tree, garden furniture), the boundary wire should be routed 30-40 cm clear of it; tilt and lift sensors additionally cut blade rotation on abnormal tilting.

Control runs through the Einhell Connect app over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or a keypad with LED display on the mower itself, with overnight firmware updates delivered automatically over Wi-Fi. A rain sensor sends it back to the charging station at the first drops, and a PIN code guards against theft. At 56.3 dB and rated IPX5, this robot lawn mower suits regular use close to the house, once the boundary wire is installed.
