The Kress RTKⁿ KR172E.A builds on the KR172E for gardens up to 2000 m² by adding the OAS (Obstacle Avoidance System): weight 12 kg, 20 cm cutting width, adjustable height 30-60 mm, 40% max slope.
The navigation principle is unchanged — onboard RTK antenna, real-time satellite correction, mowing boundary drawn entirely in the app, with no wire or fixed antenna to install on the property. OAS adds active obstacle detection: the mower slows and steers around a detected obstacle before impact rather than bouncing off it, a genuine comfort on a 2000 m² garden where trees, furniture and beds add up. No-go zones still need to be defined manually on the map.
Battery: 20V, roughly 90-minute recharge. Compared with the KR172E without OAS, this model suits gardens where obstacle density justifies investing in active detection, without going all the way to the EyePilot line's camera.
