Kress Kress RTKⁿ 1,000 m² robotic lawn mower with OAS (Obstacle Avoidance System)

The Kress RTKⁿ KR161E covers gardens up to 1000 m² with the OAS (Obstacle Avoidance System) built in, detecting and steering around fixed obstacles before any contact. Weight 12 kg, 20 cm cutting width, adjustable height 30-60 mm, 40% max slope.

As with the rest of the RTKⁿ range, no perimeter wire is required: the onboard RTK antenna picks up real-time satellite correction that defines a virtual boundary configured in the Kress app. OAS adds an active safety layer — the mower slows and diverts as soon as it detects an obstacle, rather than bumping into it and bouncing off like a model without a dedicated sensor. No-go zones (a pond, vegetable patch, play area) still need to be set manually on the garden map.

Battery: 20V, about 3-hour recharge. A solid robotic lawn mower for mid-sized gardens with furniture or beds to navigate around confidently, without stepping up to the camera-equipped EyePilot range.
